Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Pixelpal B.V. ("Pixelpal", "we", "us"), the company that operates Launchlane (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Launchlane helps teams turn shipped work from tools like Linear and GitHub into product changelogs. We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. We may also stop offering the Service to you or to everyone, with reasonable notice where practicable.

2. Your account

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate any law or the rights of others.
• Disrupt, attack, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Service except as permitted by mandatory law.
• Send spam, malware, or content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service ("Your Content"). You grant Pixelpal a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to submit Your Content.

5. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third-party tools (such as Linear, GitHub, and Google). Your use of those tools is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. You authorise us to access data from those tools as needed to provide the Service.

6. Fees

Some features may require a paid subscription. Fees, billing cycles, taxes (including VAT/BTW where applicable), and refund eligibility will be disclosed at the point of purchase. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, sections that by their nature should survive (including liability, indemnity, and governing law) will continue to apply.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI-generated content may contain errors — you are responsible for reviewing it before publishing.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pixelpal will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to liability, or (b) EUR 100. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Dutch law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Pixelpal harmless from any third-party claims arising out of your use of the Service in breach of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, by email or in-product) before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Midden-Nederland (location Utrecht), unless mandatory consumer-protection law grants you the right to bring proceedings in another forum.
